Aza graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Psychology. She has worked in mental health for 5+ years providing direct care to clients of all ages, but especially loves working with adults. Specifically, she has experience in residential treatment, substance use, case management, and mentoring college students. Aza first found joy working with the autism community at her previous place of employment, where she provided case management and vocational support to teens and young adults on the spectrum. Among other attributes it was ScenicView's comprehensive, one-stop shop list of services and culture of acceptance that drew her in. Ultimately, she aims to encourage compassionate problem-solving with her students as they discover their potentials and work towards their goals for independence. In her free time Aza enjoys exploring creative outlets, hearing her baby laugh, and eating lots of sushi.
